Responsabilidades

• Lead QC system and lab operations for the Staffordshire site.

• Support customer complaints to closure in a timely manner.
• Coach and train analysts; manage the QC competency matrix.
• Ensure resources are balanced to support plant needs and forecast QC budgets.
• Support supplier approvals for raw materials and Concessions management.
• Manage product specifications and inspection results information.

Quality Control Manager – Chemicals – Permanent – Staffordshire

Our client is a market leader in the manufacture speciality chemicals. They are seeking an ambitious Quality Control Manager to lead their QC team at their manufacturing facility based in Staffordshire.

This role is an ideal opportunity for a QC Team Leader or Supervisor to take their next step into a management position and be part of a close-knit team.

QC Team Management:

• Accountable for QC System and Lab Operations for the site
• Includes testing and inspection requirements for all raw materials, products, intermediates, returns, waste, environmental requirements, preparing samples, plus equipment servicing and supply needs
• Support customer complaints process to they are closed off in a timely manner.
• Coaching and training to ensure analyst competence – ownership of the QC Competency Matrix
• Ensuring resource balanced appropriately to support plant needs
• Monthly and annual budget reviews and forecasting for QC needs.
• Support the competency management system for QC elements, for site personnel.

Customers & Supplier:

• Management of Product Specifications and Inspection Results information
• Management of Raw Material Specifications
• Responsible for product and raw material concessions.
• Support the Supplier approval with respect to raw materials.
• Support for Customer complaints
