Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 ® Team in the United Kingdom seeks a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector at our Silverstone facility. You will inspect incoming materials and in-process components to ensure quality meets stringent standards.

Responsibilities include leading dimensional inspections with Polyworks/PC-DMIS using CMMs, documenting findings, and supporting in-process checks. The role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control roles, ideally in motorsport or aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of metrology software Polyworks and PC-DMIS, incl. offline programming.
• Solid understanding of quality control principles and GD&T.
• Experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment, including Polyworks and PC-DMIS.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports with dimensional analysis and NCRs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel) and proactive QA mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform detailed dimensional inspections using Polyworks and PC-DMIS with CMMs, portable arms, and trackers to verify specs.
• Support in-process inspections to ensure components meet design and manufacturing standards.
• Document inspection findings in the QRS system and communicate results to team members.
• Maintain quality control documentation and records.
• Collaborate with QC Inspectors Manager and other departments to address issues.
• Assist in implementing quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and in working order.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during inspections.
