Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics in Bristol, RI is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector for 2nd shift to inspect incoming material and finished parts, document findings, and perform first piece and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.

You will support audits, record data, and collaborate with Engineering and Production to address quality issues while adhering to AS9100 and ITAR requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
• 2+ years in a Quality Control role within manufacturing.
• Experience with micrometers, calipers and optical comparators.
• Vision system inspection experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform first piece, in-process and final inspections against prints.
• Inspect incoming material and finished parts, documenting results.
• Maintain quality records and support audits.
• Assist with gauge calibration, inventory and nonconforming parts assessment.
• Communicate drawings and measurement requirements to Production.
• Adhere to AS9100 requirements and safety procedures.
