Job summary

Trinity Resource Solutions in the United Kingdom seeks a QC Inspector for a specialist defence electronics programme. You will be the checkpoint between supplier deliveries and the project, with the final say on quality before items ship.

In a small, high-impact quality team, you will inspect incoming goods, PCBAs and assemblies, read drawings, use calipers and micrometers, raise non-conformances, and sponsor SC clearance if needed.

Qualifications

• Goods-in and production inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Defence and electronics experience.
• Confidence reading engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Hands-on use of mechanical and electronic measuring equipment.
• A methodical, detail-obsessed approach and solid record-keeping.
• Good communication skills and an easy way of working across teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming goods, components and materials against drawings, specs and purchase orders.
• Carry out stage and final inspection on PCBAs, electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Run visual and dimensional checks with verniers, micrometers, gauges and electronic test kit.
• Check certs, paperwork and traceability so nothing slips through undocumented.
• Raise non-conformances and work with suppliers, Engineering and Quality to fix root causes.
• Keep inspection records accurate and systems up to date.
• Pitch in on stores, stock control and continuous improvement when needed.
