Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a Quality Inspector in the Dartford area to join a growing engineering business. You will inspect components before release and work closely with production to uphold a strong quality-driven culture.

The role requires experience in manufacturing, ideally electronics or PCB environments, with familiarity with inspection tools and the ability to read technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience within manufacturing, ideally electronics or PCB environments.
• Familiarity with inspection tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Knowledge of IPC standards (desirable).
• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed visual inspections of components and assemblies
• Identify and report non-conformances, supporting continuous improvement
• Perform first-off inspections against Bills of Materials
• Use a variety of inspection tools within a PCB/manufacturing environment
• Work from engineering and manufacturing documentation
• Support compliance with quality standards and procedures
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety
