ProTech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Quality Inspector for an established electronics manufacturing company in St Neots. You will inspect PCB assemblies, solder joints, wiring and mechanical components to ensure quality, safety and performance before delivery.

You will also perform goods-inwards checks and shop-floor quality checks, working closely with production to maintain consistently high standards and uphold ISO 9001.

Competenze

• IPC-A-610 qualification gained within the last three years.
• Experience recognising SMT and through-hole components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Experience using measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of metals and plastics in general engineering.
• An eye for detail on finishes, colours and overall product quality.
• Experience in an ISO 9001 quality management environment.
• Good English communication skills and a practical hands-on approach.

Are you a Quality Inspector with an eye for detail and experience in electronics manufacturing?

We're recruiting for a fantastic opportunity, a specialist electronics manufacturing company looking for a Quality Inspector to join their production team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in quality inspection who enjoys working hands-on in a manufacturing environment and takes pride in ensuring products meet the highest standards.

You'll be inspecting PCB assemblies, soldering, wiring and mechanical assemblies, helping to ensure products meet the required quality, safety and performance standards before reaching customers.

You'll also get involved in goods-inwards inspections and shop-floor quality checks, working closely with the production team to identify issues and help maintain consistently high standards across the business.

What we're looking for

• A valid IPC-A-610 qualification gained within the last three years.
• Experience recognising surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole components.
• The ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Experience using measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of general engineering, including metals and plastics.
• An eye for detail, particularly when assessing finishes, colours and overall product quality.
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 quality management environment.
• Good English communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
