An established industry player is seeking a diligent Quality Control Inspector to oversee the class 700 dilap project at their Three Bridges Depot. This role involves managing installations of graffiti-resistant systems on rolling stock, ensuring quality and safety standards are met across multiple locations. Flexibility in working hours is essential, as the role may require early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekend work. We are currently working with our client in the rail sector to recruit a Quality Control Inspector based at their Three Bridges Depot (Crawley area).
This role is within IR35 and pays between £25 and £35 per hour on either a PAYE or Umbrella basis.
This role is required to manage the class 700 dilap project. The scope of the project is to carry out installations of graffiti resistant systems on the interiors of rolling stock.
With multiple contractors carrying out different scopes of work at multiple locations, this inspector will ensure the work is genuine and of an acceptable standard and GTR are getting value for money.
There is a requirement for pre & post works inspections.
This also ensures the safety and well being of those mobilised to carry out these works under GTR obligation of management of contractors.
This operative may be expected to travel to other GTR locations to carry out inspections.
Whilst the core of the work will be day shift times, there will be some flexibility required with early starts and late finishes with the possibility of occasional weekend working.
