Job summary

Nexos is hiring a Quality Control Inspector at our assigned fabrication facility in the UK. You will own a range of QC activities to ensure products meet quality, compliance and client expectations. This role offers a clear path to visible contributions and collaboration with clients, colleagues and inspectors.

We seek someone with fabrication experience, inspection background and CSWIP 3.1, plus strong attention to detail and communication skills to drive quality at every stage of production.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating QC activities across the fabrication process.
• Reviewing and issuing job packs, ensuring customer requirements are fully understood and verified.
• Reviewing material certification and generating NDE requests.
• Carrying out pre and post visual weld inspections and weld process audits.
• Completing dimensional inspections prior to NDT.
• Ensuring NDT requirements, dimensional tolerances and certification are correct prior to final release.
• Liaising with third-party inspectors and client representatives.
• Maintaining full traceability of weld and material information.
• Preparing and reviewing quality documentation and final dossiers.
• Building strong working relationships across Production, Quality, Management and client teams.

What you’ll be doing

As part of the Nexos team, you’ll take ownership of a range of Quality Control activities, including:

• Coordinating QC activities across the fabrication process
• Reviewing and issuing job packs, ensuring customer requirements are fully understood and verified
• Reviewing material certification and generating NDE requests
• Carrying out pre and post visual weld inspections and weld process audits
• Completing dimensional inspections prior to NDT
• Ensuring NDT requirements, dimensional tolerances and certification are correct prior to final release
• Liaising with third-party inspectors and client representatives
• Maintaining full traceability of weld and material information
• Preparing and reviewing quality documentation and final dossiers

Radiographic Interpreter PCN Level 2

Location: Assigned Fabrication Facility

Full-time: 39 hours per week
