Join to apply for the Quality Control Analyst Position at NBT Brunei (Inchcape).

Location: Haverhill, Suffolk

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm / 8.30am - 5.30pm

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Position: Permanent

Our client is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join their busy quality department. Candidates should have experience in a similar role, analyzing chemicals to support production. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Main duties include:

1. Documentation, maintenance, and quality control tasks.
2. Planning work based on the directions of quality managers and department needs, adapting to changing priorities.
3. Ensuring safety and compliance within the QC laboratory.
4. Supporting the QC Lead in documentation, maintenance, and analytical tasks, including updating analytical methods and specifications.
5. Analyzing raw materials, intermediates, and final products using GC, HPLC, FTIR, KF, and titrations for release to production or clients.
6. Supporting routine and non-routine analysis, method reviews, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
7. Preparing and reviewing QC results for internal and release testing.
8. Reviewing and approving processes via Rubicon.
9. Troubleshooting issues in QC, R&D, or production, engaging with management and suppliers as needed.

Candidate attributes:

• Degree in Organic or Analytical Chemistry preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques: GC, HPLC, FTIR, KF, titrations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• 1-2 years of relevant QC experience, preferably in fine chemicals or pharmaceuticals.
• Laboratory environment exposure to equipment like GCs, HPLCs, FTIR, and computers.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 kilos with assistance.
• Own transport required due to location.
