Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains in Milton Keynes is seeking a meticulous Technician to ensure quality and precision in a high-performance engineering environment. You will identify affected parts, coordinate containment, and support recall actions to protect championship-winning components.

You\'ll read engineering drawings, apply first-principle inspection techniques, and maintain traceability and accurate records across quality systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding of first principle dimensional inspection techniques.
• Understanding of part traceability and material control.
• Good appreciation of quality processes and non-conformance management.

Responsibilities

• Identify affected parts using ERP, NCR and fault management systems.
• Determine quantities, locations and status of suspect material.
• Coordinate the collection and quarantine of affected stock.
• Execute recall and quarantine actions in accordance with containment procedures.
• Support urgent containment actions on critical quality issues.
• Update part status within Epicor and associated quality systems.
• Maintain accurate records of quarantined and inspected material.
• Generate containment reports and status updates.
• Track progress of containment activities through to completion.
• Raise and manage containment-related transactions and jobs.
