Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains in Milton Keynes seeks a driven Technician to join a precision engineering team powering championship-winning cars. You will ensure quality and containment of parts, and you will work with ERP, NCR and quality systems to track and quarantine affected stock.

You'll read engineering drawings, apply first-principle dimensional inspection, and support accurate containment actions and reports while collaborating with a high-performance team dedicated to quality and speed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding of first principle dimensional inspection techniques.
• Understanding of part traceability and material control.
• Knowledge of quality processes and non-conformance management.

Responsibilities

• Identify affected parts using ERP, NCR and fault management systems.
• Determine quantities, locations and status of suspect material.
• Coordinate the collection and quarantine of affected stock.
• Execute recall and quarantine actions in accordance with containment procedures.
• Support urgent containment actions on critical quality issues.
• Update part status within Epicor and associated quality systems.
• Maintain accurate records of quarantined and inspected material.
• Generate containment reports and status updates.
• Track progress of containment activities through to completion.
• Raise and manage containment-related transactions and jobs.
