Quality & Compliance Manager

QHSE Taskforce, a leading Residential Developer and Main Contractor, is looking for a Quality & Compliance Manager to join their growing operation based out of Birmingham. You will ensure consistent quality & compliance standards are applied to ensure that business processes are compliant with the company-wide management system. You will play a key role in ensuring the business maintains its ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditations and will have a particularly good understanding of Quality management in relation to housebuilding or construction projects.

This role could suit a Site Manager with strong QA/QC experience and an understanding of the wider technical standards such as NHBC, or an accomplished Quality Manager from a construction or housebuilding background.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Internally and externally auditing to ensure compliance.
  2. Liaising with professional certification body for ISO accreditations.
  3. Leading continuous improvement of the standard practices and procedures through stakeholder engagement.
  4. Liaising with all business units to provide contractual and technical advice in respect to quality issues as and when required.
  5. Undertaking Quality Site inspections in accordance with Warranty Technical Standards.
  6. Driving the Quality Assurance and Control at project level.
  7. Leading the procedural development to support construction delivery.
  8. Develop and maintain company audit systems.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Experience within a housebuilding or construction environment (ESSENTIAL).
  2. A Construction qualification.
  3. Good communication skills.
  4. Excellent report-writing and IT skills.
  5. Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 (ESSENTIAL).
  6. Working knowledge of ISO 14001 (preferable).
  7. Proven internal auditing skills.
