Job summary

Barhale Holdings Plc is seeking a Quality Manager to assure quality across products, services, and processes, with authority to stop works and escalate risks. The role focuses on maintaining IMS, compliance with BS EN 1090, ISO 3834, LOLER and PUWER, and driving continuous improvement through CAPA and audits.

Qualifications

• System Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a quality leadership role within fabrication, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Technical Standards: Deep understanding of EN 1090, ISO 3834, LOLER, and PUWER.
• Audit Management: Strong experience managing audits, NCP and CAPA processes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, influencing, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• IT Literacy: High level of proficiency in standard IT tools and systems.
• Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the integrated management system in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Meet legal and industry standards including BS EN 1090, ISO 3834, LOLER, and PUWER.
• Develop and implement BCS quality processes, standards, and certifications.
• Perform frequent internal quality checks and inspections on manufactured products.
• Conduct supplier audits to ensure incoming products adhere to quality standards.
• Manage the calibration standards and systems across the business.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve product and production defects.
• Drive efficiency by improving production and streamlining operations.
• Lead investigations for quality incidents and non-conformances (NCP) and implement CAPA.
• Create contract-specific Inspection & Test Plans and compile MDRs.
