Job summary

Severfield is seeking a Quality Manager at our Lostock site to lead QA and QC inspection teams, ensuring the delivery of a quality product in compliance with client specifications. The role requires a technical or quality qualification (HNC level) and welding or inspection experience, plus ISO 9001 lead/auditor certification.

You will work with the quality team on investigations into non-conformances, drive continuous improvement, and audit subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Requires technical or quality qualification (HNC Level) and welding or inspection experience.
• Must hold ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor qualification.
• Experience with quality systems, auditing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA and QC inspection personnel in line with Severfield Quality System.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications around inspection, quality records and material sourcing.
• Externally audit subcontractor requirements; write and implement project-specific inspection testing; perform site C works.
