Job summary

Omexom Uk is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the implementation and oversight of quality assurance across the business unit’s projects. You will ensure ISO 9001 compliance, support delivery teams, and drive continuous improvement to meet customer expectations.

The role requires regular site presence (50% travel) and close collaboration with management, project teams, subcontractors, and clients to embed quality in planning, execution, and bid submissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar quality role.
• CQI Quality in Construction or equivalent.
• IRCA Lead Auditor qualification, ISO 9001.
• Membership of a professional body preferred.
• Experience in construction/infrastructure quality.
• Experience managing non-conformances and root-cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
• Training in accident/incident investigation.
• Experience supporting quality deliverables at project level.

Responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for all quality-related matters across assigned projects.
• Support the implementation and compliance of the Omexom Management System and ISO 9001 standards.
• Assist project teams in developing and applying Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Ensure appropriate levels of quality surveillance, inspection, and control are applied throughout project execution.
• Attend and support monthly Business Unit board meetings.
• Provide quality input and support to the Business Unit’s operational and tendering teams.
• Deliver quality awareness training for new employees and support ongoing training initiatives.
• Mentor quality advisors and deliver toolbox talks.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives in the QMS.
