TipTopJob is recruiting a Quality Auditor for a 12-month maternity cover role based in Bilston. You will work within the Technical Team to prevent defects by ensuring quality checks meet customer specifications and any non-conformances are raised to the QA leadership.

You will perform CCP checks, HACCP compliance, data entry, calibration verification, and daily QA tasks while collaborating with multiple departments to uphold product safety and quality.

Qualifications

Experience in quality assurance or auditing within a manufacturing or food production environment is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in quality management or auditing are desirable.

Responsibilities

Carry out raw material quality checks and input data into the online system.
Perform traceability checks and verify label placement and information accuracy.
Ensure HACCP compliance and CCP checks are conducted.
Complete QA paperwork accurately and report issues to QA Team Leader/Manager.
Audit quality checks and daily factory processes to ensure GMP compliance.
Check calibration of measuring equipment and investigate complaints.

Job description

Quality Auditor (12 months Maternity Cover) sought by a GBP multimillion pound food products manufacturer to join their team in Bilston.

This is a maternity cover role for 12 months covering the AM shift: Monday to Friday 8.30am : 6pm.

The Role

As a Quality Auditor you will be working as part of the Technical Team, preventing errors in manufacturing or production that lead to product defects.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all quality checks are carried out to the correct customer specification and any non:conformances are reported immediately to the relevant Section Manager, as well as ensuring due diligence, product safety and quality in all relevant departments.

As a Quality Auditor, Your Duties Will Include

: Raw material quality checks.
: To input data into the online system
: Carry out traceability checks
: Verify label placement and information accuracy
: Ensure compliance with HACCP procedures
: Carry out Critical Control Point (CCP) checks
: Completing paperwork to a high level of accuracy, recording daily QA tasks
: Identifying and reporting any quality, food safety or compliance issues to QA Team Leader and QA Manager
: Audit quality checks
: Daily checks of factory processes and procedures to ensure compliance and adhere to good manufacturing practices
: Carry out verification checks of calibration of measuring equipment
: Investigate complaints and resolve issues
: Collecting and collating samples for testing

Your Experience As Quality Auditor

: Experience in quality assurance or auditing within a manufacturing or food production environment is desirable
