Job summary

Sofina Foods in Malton is seeking a Site Compliance Technician to champion product quality, food safety, and GMP across the production site. You will lead day-to-day audits, ensure traceability, and support corrective actions with the production management team.

The role requires experience in an FMCG/compliance environment, strong communication, reliability and problem-solving, and a collaborative approach to raising standards with on-site training and PPE adherence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar compliance or technical role within FMCG.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Reliable, conscientious and self-motivated with a determined and resilient approach.

Responsibilities

• Champion product quality, food safety standards and good manufacturing practices at all times.
• Conduct day to day compliance and quality audits across the site.
• Ensure compliance principles are aligned with legislative requirements, food industry standards and customer codes of practice.
• Undertake routine calibration as required by site schedules.
• Assist in identifying and progressing corrective actions following internal and external audit non-conformances.
• Monitor production processes and drive factory standards.
• Ensure accurate completion of all traceability documentation in line with site procedure.
• Ensure appropriate clothing and PPE is worn by all staff at all times.

Job description

The Role

Working closely with Production Management, you will drive and improve good manufacturing practice, food quality and safety. You will coordinate the compliance team to ensure the highest standards are maintained and improved across all products and processes.

Monday - Wednesday, 06:00-18:00
£13.45 per hour
