Job summary

International Procurement and Logistics Limited is recruiting a Quality Auditor to join our Forza team in Wakefield. This role checks the quality, packaging and labeling of finished products to confirm they meet product specifications and customer requirements.

You will work on rotating shifts (6:30am–10:30pm), site-based, and ensure on-line QA checks are carried out in line with QMS, with product traceability within a 4-hour window, and that the shift team keeps products within specification.

Qualifications

• Ideally the candidate has QA or QC experience, preferably in food.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable with good communication and teamwork.
• Qualification in quality, food technology or related field is desirable.

About The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Auditor to join our Forza Team. We are looking for a QA Auditor to check the quality, packaging and labelling of our finished products to confirm that they meet the individual product specification and customer requirements.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday - Sunday (4 on 2 off), Rotating Shifts - 6:30am - 10:30pm
• Location: Forza Foods - Site Based Role
• Contract Type: Permanent

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Communicate all relevant information about key QA issues on your shift to your colleagues and Line
• To ensure that the paperwork, systems and training are in place to carry out the necessary on-line QA checks in line with QMS
• Conduct product traceability exercise within a 4-hour window
• Ensure your shift team and operators aim to keep product within specification.

What are we looking for?

Ideally the individual should have previous QA or QC experience, preferably from within the food industry together with a qualification in quality, food technology or related field.

Candidates must be enthusiastic, committed, flexible, resilient, able to lead by example and will be able to demonstrate their passion for food safety. Other competencies include attention to detail, reliability, with excellent communication, influencing and team working skills.
