Job summary

Ethero Strategic Staffing is seeking a QA Auditor on behalf of a Derby food manufacturer. You will help safeguard product safety and quality across the production process by performing checks, audits, and investigations.

The position is a temp-to-perm role with long-term prospects. Shift is Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00, with weekly pay and ongoing training, commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Burton and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA or food production.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Attention to detail with a proactive attitude.
• Comfortable working in chilled production areas.
• Basic IT skills for logging checks and completing reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on temperature, weights, product specs, hygiene, and traceability.
• Monitor CCPs in line with HACCP guidelines.
• Record findings and report non-conformances.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Participate in complaint investigations and taste panels.
• Maintain documentation to meet BRC and customer requirements.

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established food manufacturing site in Derby, for a QA Auditor to join their Quality Assurance team. This is a temp-to-perm role offering long-term prospects for the right candidate.

About The Role

As a QA Auditor, you will play a key part in maintaining product safety and quality throughout the production process. You’ll carry out checks, audits, and investigations, ensuring all procedures align with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on temperature, weights, product specs, hygiene, and traceability
• Monitor CCPs in line with HACCP guidelines
• Record findings and report non-conformances
• Support internal and external audits
• Participate in complaint investigations and taste panels
• Maintain documentation to meet BRC and customer requirements
