Job description

Due to continued growth, this market leading manufacturer of advanced metal precision components to multiple manufacturing sectors has a new vacancy for a Quality Assurance Technician to join the team. Reporting to the Quality Manager responsible for assisting the team with audits and inspections.

Commutable from: Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Alcester, Evesham

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 p.a. + benefits

Suitable for: Quality Inspector, Quality Engineer, QE Apprentice, Quality Technician, QMS Engineer

The Role
  1. Assisting on internal audits, corrective actions and process capability studies.
  2. Working within the team to prevent non-conformities relating to process, product or quality system.
  3. Identify and record problems relating to product quality.
  4. Assist Quality Assurance Engineer on the control of non-conforming products.
The Person
  1. Experience within a Quality Department, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  2. Worked to a Quality Management System.
  3. Understanding of inspection and testing.
  4. Competent in the use of MS Office such as Word and Excel.
