Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist at Langdon will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the high standards of quality and safety expected by clients and consumers. Based in the London office, this position involves handling product specification documentation, addressing customer complaints, and managing general food quality issues. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in food science and a keen attention to detail, enabling them to effectively monitor and improve product quality within a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage product specification documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
  • Investigate and address customer complaints regarding product quality, working collaboratively with production and technical teams to resolve issues.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and assessments of ingredients and final products to ensure conformity to established specifications.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing quality management systems and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on food safety regulations and industry best practices to internal teams and partners.
  • Monitor market trends and emerging food technologies to provide insight into potential quality improvements.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, production, and development teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement in quality systems.
