Job summary

ES Recruit seeks a Quality Inspector (Weld & NDT) to uphold quality standards in a manufacturing environment. The role involves inspections, documentation review, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

This position suits QA/QC professionals with CSWIP 3.1 certification and welding procedure experience, operating within a collaborative team. Key duties include ITP control, supplier site inspections, and producing inspection reports while adhering to ISO standards.

Qualifications

• CSWIP 3.1 certification is essential.
• PCN Level 2 in PT RI is highly desirable.
• Experience within Nuclear, MOD or Heavy Fabrication is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections to ensure materials at goods inwards meet required standards.
• Control and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
• Liaise with sub-contractors and treatment works to inspect sites.
• Visit suppliers and produce relevant inspection reports.
• Utilise Welding inspection and NDT knowledge to ensure work complies with ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete inspections to ensure material at goods inwards meet the required standards.
• Control and manage ITP’s (inspection test plans).
• Liaise with sub-contractors and treatment works to carry out inspections of sites.
• Visit suppliers and produce relevant inspection reports.
• Utilise your Welding inspection and NDT knowledge to ensure work is completed to a safe and high standard in compliance with company and ISO standards are followed.

Requirements:

• CSWIP 3.1 certified is essential.
• PCN Level 2 in PT & RI highly desirable
• Experience within Nuclear, MOD or Heavy Fabrication is highly advantageous.

Permanent

Pay rate: £33.31 per hour + Overtime + £1541 monthly allowances

Working Hours: 37.5 hrs per week, with overtime available.

Shift Pattern: 10 on, 4 off rotation.
