Job summary

ES Recruit is seeking a Quality Inspector (Weld & NDT) to uphold quality standards in manufacturing. You will inspect materials, review documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements on site at Bridgewater near Hinkley Point C.

Essential CSWIP 3.1 certification, with PCN Level 2 PT RI desirable. Nuclear/MOD/heavy fabrication background is advantageous; 37.5 hour week, with overtime and allowances apply.

Qualifications

• CSWIP 3.1 certified is essential.
• PCN Level 2 in PT & RI highly desirable.
• Experience in Nuclear, MOD or Heavy Fabrication advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections to ensure materials meet required standards.
• Control and manage inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Liaise with subcontractors and treatment works to inspect sites.
• Visit suppliers and produce inspection reports.
• Use welding inspection and NDT knowledge to ensure ISO-compliant work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete inspections to ensure material at goods inwards meet the required standards.
• Control and manage ITP’s (inspection test plans).
• Liaise with sub-contractors and treatment works to carry out inspections of sites.
• Visit suppliers and produce relevant inspection reports.
• Utilise your Welding inspection and NDT knowledge to ensure work is completed to a safe and high standard in compliance with company and ISO standards are followed.

Requirements:

• CSWIP 3.1 certified is essential.
• PCN Level 2 in PT & RI highly desirable
• Experience within Nuclear, MOD or Heavy Fabrication is highly advantageous.

Permanent

Pay rate: £33.31 per hour + Overtime + £1541 monthly allowances

Location: Bridgewater, Hinkley Point C.

Working Hours: 37.5 hrs per week, with overtime available.

Shift Pattern: 10 on, 4 off rotation.
