An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced QA Manager to join the Quality Assurance team at the Joint Research Office of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves establishing a Quality Management System and ensuring compliance with research governance and regulations, while supporting various units within the organization.
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Quality Assurance team at the Joint Research Office (JRO) of University College London (UCL) and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH). UCL and UCLH are two world-class organisations at the forefront of innovative and ground-breaking clinical research.
The JRO, part of the Research Directorate, plays a central role in supporting the development and growth of a large, internationally recognised clinical research portfolio. It collaborates with other units across UCLH and UCL to ensure the portfolio is supported by the right expertise and effective systems to meet regulatory, performance, and quality standards. The research portfolio includes studies within the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, such as Clinical Trials of an Investigational Medicinal Product (CTIMP), observational, and interventional research (including UCL student projects).
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated QA Manager to join the JRO QA Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish the overarching Quality Management System by developing and implementing systems and processes that ensure compliance with research governance, policies, and regulations.
The post holder will:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication, planning, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of implementing QA initiatives and championing continuous quality improvement. QA experience in an NHS, academic, or commercial clinical research environment is preferred.
