Job summary

REFY in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to embed quality across the full product lifecycle, from early-stage NPD risk assessments to production and post-market management. You will lead scalable quality systems and collaborate with Product Development, Packaging, Supply Chain, Operations, and suppliers to ensure REFY products meet quality, safety, performance and aesthetics.

Reporting to the Senior Regulatory & Technical Manager, you will drive continuous improvement,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering or related discipline.
  • 6+ years' experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management within Cosmetics, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or regulated industries.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716 and ISO 9001; familiarity with FDA/OTC requirements is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and root cause investigation skills, with a hands-on approach to product quality assessment and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and embed a quality-first culture across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve REFY’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring robust and scalable quality processes.
  • Own incoming goods quality control, including AQL reviews, inspections and ensuring products meet approved standards.
  • Establish and maintain product and packaging quality standards, including specifications, tolerances, reference samples and range boards.
  • Own product quality approvals, including PPS reviews, production samples and quality sign-off against approved standards.
  • Embed quality throughout NPD, identifying risks and providing quality input from concept through production and launch.
  • Manage supplier quality performance, including audits, quality issues, deviations, CAPAs and continuous improvement.
  • Lead quality investigations, identifying trends, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain quality documentation and compliance, including SOPs, work instructions and specifications in line with GMP and applicable quality standards.
  • Monitor ongoing product quality through warehouse, retained sample and production assessments.
  • Act as a key quality authority across REFY, influencing decisions, collaborating cross-functionally and promoting a quality-first culture.

THE ROLE

At REFY, we’re redefining beauty through innovation, simplicity, and uncompromising quality.

As Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll play a critical role in embedding quality throughout the

full product lifecycle — from early-stage NPD risk assessments and development through to

production, launch, and post-market quality management.

Reporting to the Senior Regulatory & Technical Manager, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally

with Product Development, Packaging, Supply Chain, Operations, and global suppliers to ensure

products consistently meet REFY’s quality, safety, performance, and aesthetic standards. You’ll

lead the development of scalable quality systems, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and

establish robust processes that support business growth while maintaining best-in-class product

quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
