MDE is currently seeking a Quality Manager for an Aerospace & Defence Component manufacturer just outside of Bristol.

Core to the company ethos are their People, Quality, and Technology—backed by AS9100revD accreditation, a strong order book, a list of customer approvals, comprehensive training to upskill their workforce, and significant investment in machinery (their plant list is truly impressive).

The Role:

Responsibilities include controlling quality throughout the business, ensuring the organization meets customer expectations, managing the quality team, promoting a right-first-time approach, advising on measurement techniques and practices, fostering a continuous improvement ethos, working within an AS9100 quality environment, and managing HSE on-site.

The Skills:

• AS9100 Lead Auditor qualification (IRCA certified)
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a quality manager in an AS9100 environment
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a precision machining inspection department
• IOSH certification at minimum; NEBOSH preferred
• Supplier development experience
