# Quality Assurance ManagerMDE are currently seeking a Quality Manager for an Aerospace & Defence Component manufacturer just outside of Bristol. Core to the company ethos is their People, Quality and Technology - backed by AS9100revD accreditation, a very exciting order-book/list of customer approvals, comprehensive training in place to upskilll their workforce and significant investment in machinery (their plant list is truly fantastic). This is an excellent opportunity to have a real impact, take significant ownership, drive the company forward, and assure the delivery mission-critical complex components to high-end sectors, Primes and OEMs. The Role: This position is truly core the business. To control quality throughout the business, ensuring that the organisation meets its customers’ expectations. To manage the quality team and others in promoting a right first-time approach to all tasks within the company. To advise on best measurement techniques and practices and promote a continuous improvement ethos within the business. To work within an AS9100 quality environment. Manage HSE on-site. The Skills: AS9100 Lead audit qualification that is an IRCA certified course Minimum 5 years experience of as a quality manager in an AS9100 environment. Minimum 5 years experience in a precision machining inspection department. IOSH as a minimum. NEBOSH Preferred. Supplier development experience.
