Job summary

Fusion People Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for M&E engineering on a contract basis, paying £400 a day.

Qualifications

• Electrical / mechanical / Comms installation qualifications.
• HND/NVQ/CQI or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• The correct materials are being used and have been approved before installation.
• Work is being installed correctly and meets the drawings, specifications and client requirements.
• There are clear checklists and inspection points for the work.
• Problems, defects and snags are identified, recorded and fixed.
• Nothing is signed off until it meets the required standard.
• All the paperwork and evidence is completed correctly.
• There is a clear audit trail showing what was installed, who checked it, when it was checked and whether it passed.
• Outstanding work is chased through to completion.
• The client has confidence that the project has been delivered correctly.
• Quality issues are spotted early rather than becoming expensive problems later.
