Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced QC Manager for a well-respected M&E engineering business based in West London. The role focuses on developing QA plans, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with design specs and British Standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong QA/QC background in construction or engineering, with proven leadership in quality assurance activities on major projects. Competitive salary is paid weekly and outside IR35.

Qualifications

• You will be an experienced QA/QC Manager with a proven track record of developing quality assurance plans.
• Background in construction or engineering sectors is beneficial.
• Experience coordinating quality assurance activities on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular site inspections of mechanical and electrical installations.
• Ensure works comply with design specifications, drawings and relevant British Standards.
• Monitor workmanship and installation quality throughout all project stages.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities.
• Produce detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate project records.
• Identify defects, snags and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
• Review contractor RAMS and monitor compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support to Project Managers and Engineers.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support project handovers and review commissioning documentation and O&M manuals.

Salary £400 – 425 a shift + Outside IR35 + Weekly Payments

You will already be an experienced QA /QC Manager with a proven track record of developing quality assurance plans.
