Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking a Quality Manager to join a technology company near Southampton. You will lead QA systems across hardware, software and firmware, driving continuous improvement and certification activities.

You will audit programs, manage documentation, and liaise with customers on QA matters. A degree in engineering or related field and ISO 9001 experience are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• ISO 9001 accreditation and strong knowledge of QMS.
• Experience implementing and developing quality or business management systems.
• Proven experience leading internal and external QA audits.
• ISO 9001 internal auditor accreditation.
• Strong documentation, reporting and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the company’s Quality Assurance systems alongside the engineering team.
• Act as the lead contact for QA-related customer activities including pre-sales support, certifications, production quality and failure analysis.
• Support audits, management reviews and customer feedback processes, ensuring actions are completed effectively.
• Maintain and improve the Business Management System and associated documentation.
• Prepare and manage internal and external audit schedules.
• Create, revise and maintain procedures, forms and work instructions.
• Prepare quality documentation, reports and statistical analysis.
