Job summary
D R Newitt & Associates in Glasgow is seeking a Quality Engineer to take ownership of quality across customer projects, collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, suppliers and customers to ensure contracts meet the required standards from review to delivery.
You'll lead quality reviews, develop Quality Plans and drive root-cause investigations, audits and NCR closures, with opportunities to develop into a recognised technical expert on complex, high-value engineering
Qualifications
- Engineering or manufacturing background with QA experience.
- Experience in Quality Assurance and ISO 9001.
- Auditing, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with ASME, NQA-1, API is advantageous.
- Degree in Engineering/Quality is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality reviews for customer projects.
- Develop and communicate Quality Plans.
- Support resolution of manufacturing and product issues.
- Collaborate with customers to agree quality requirements.
- Conduct audits, drive NCR closure and root-cause investigations.
- Introduce improvements to prevent repeats.
