Job summary

Absolute Taste is seeking a QA Lead to drive a culture of technical expertise across our brand by advising, supporting, and coaching the business in supplier assurance relating to safety, quality, and legal compliance.

You will lead internal audits, monitor critical control points, manage training, investigate non-conformances and complaints, and implement improvements to maintain high food safety standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong food safety & quality knowledge.
• Internal auditing experience across GMP, hygiene, allergen controls and production processes.
• Experience investigating non-conformances and complaints.
• Microbiology awareness.
• Communication - ability to challenge internally and externally, train and coach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage internal audits (GMP, hygiene, allergen, process, glass and brittle plastic) and elevate any non-conformances or food safety risks to the business.
• Monitor critical control points including equipment checks, temperatures, microbiological sampling, and hygiene standards
• Manage and maintain Company's training program ensuring compliance with legal, company and customers requirements, train and mentor section managers ensuring they are fully equipped and competent in all Company's processes, procedures.
• Investigate ingredients (food and non-food) non-conformances and finished product complaints completing investigation forms and implementing improvements where required.
• Implement and maintain reporting systems for complaints, non-conformances and microbiological testing
• Support with internal and external complaints and non-conformances investigation
• Support with the process and procedures to drive continuous improvement

About The Role
