Job summary

Faith Recruitment is seeking a Quality Technician in Woking to support quality standards across a growing business. You will inspect products, investigate quality issues and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams.

The role entails performing first-off, in-process, final and incoming inspections and using precision measuring tools to ensure quality. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, production, or a similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Methodical approach and ability to follow quality procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; ERP and inspection equipment experience is advantageous.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first-off, in-process, final and incoming inspections.
• Conduct factory inspections to identify and prevent quality issues.
• Use verniers, micrometres, gauges and visual inspection techniques.
• Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes and support corrective actions.
• Work with production teams to reduce defects and improve quality.
• Support customer and supplier quality investigations.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ERP documentation.
• Support ISO 9001 compliance and internal audits.
• Promote right-first-time working and continuous improvements.
