We are looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join the supply chain team at RBAT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confirm the quality of parts and assemblies produced for & by RBAT using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) methods.
• Ensure quality procedures are understood & followed at every inspection stage.
• Accurately and timely enter data into business systems, including Parts Management and Quality reporting systems.
• Identify non-conforming components, complete inspection reports, and provide accurate information for decision-making.
• Support Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, contributing sustainable measures.
• Work closely with Technical & Engineering teams to improve quality, reliability, and structural integrity.
• Perform weekly calibration and log entries of quality equipment, including probes and laser scanners.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of Polyworks, including programming and editing.
• Extensive knowledge of inspection processes using CMM, Romer Arm, and hand tools; familiarity with height gauges, shadow graphs, hardness testing, and form tracers is beneficial.
• Thorough understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques, including GD&T.
• Experience with CAD models, interrogating CAD models, layer setting, and reference sets.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a quality environment working under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of SPC, MSA, Gauge R&R, and FMEA deployment and use.
