Job summary

Eaton's Aerospace business in Hampshire is relocating to a new Daedalus facility and seeks a Quality compliance professional to supervise quality reviews, KPI reporting, CAPA/8D processing, and document control for AS EN9100 and CAA Part 21 & 145 compliance.

Role requires strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Access) and PFMEA/8D experience, with the ability to train staff and drive a culture of "I Own Quality" across functions.

Qualifications

• Aerospace Engineering and Aerospace Regulatory Knowledge (EASA/AS9100)
• Experience in PFMEA/8D
• Excellent IT skills with MS Office
• Auditing experience, Lead Auditor preferred
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• HNC/Degree preferred (experience considered)
• Power BI knowledge advantageous
• Airworthiness/regulatory knowledge (AS EN9100) beneficial

Responsibilities

• Manage Monthly Quality Reviews.
• Compile and present KPIs for management reviews.
• Raise, monitor and verify CAPA/8D with stakeholders.
• Maintain company documentation.
• Maintain training materials and deliver training.
• Promote a strong quality culture across functions.
• Undertake internal audits per schedule.
• Maintain approvals: AS EN9100, UK CAA Part 21 & 145.
• Develop the business system as required.
• Liaise with external stakeholders and audits.

Our site is undergoing a significant and exciting transformation as we relocate to a newly constructed facility in Daedalus. This state-of-the-art site will serve as the Centre of Excellence for aerospace manufacturing across Europe, marking a new era of innovation and excellence. We pride ourselves as a premier supplier of fully integrated fuel systems for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. We boast extensive fuel and air system test facilities, facilitating comprehensive testing across a range of conditions with various fuel types What you'll do:

What you'll do:

• Management of Quality Reviews - Monthly
• Compilation and presentation of KPIs for Key business functions required supporting Management reviews.
• Raise, monitor, and verify CAPA/8D, working with relevant stake holders to drive robust RCCA.
• Compilation and maintenance of company documentation
• Maintenance of training material and deployment of training
• Drive a strong quality culture throughout the business with cross functional involvement, promoting "I Own Quality" initiative in all areas.
• Undertake and complete internal audits as per the audit schedule.
• Maintenance and progression of company approvals: AS EN 9100, UK CAA Part 21 & 145
• Development of the Business system as defined by the business requirements.
• Liaison and preparation of external stakeholders, visits, preparation of visits and audit reports
• Aerospace knowledge of AS/EN9100 and CAA Part 21 & 145 would be advantageous.
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft apps such as word and excel
• Knowledge of Power BI would be advantageous.

Skills:

• Aerospace Engineering and Aerospace Regulatory Knowledge (EASA/AS9100)
• Experience in a similar role advantageous
• Experience of participating in PFMEA / 8D
• Sound practical experience with Excel, Word, Access etc - ability to quickly pick up business software use
• Proven experience of ability to communicate (verbally and in writing
• HNC/Degree qualified preferred, experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of education
• Excellent IT skills
• Audit trained (preferably Lead Auditor level)
