Job summary

Safran Nacelles is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer in the United Kingdom to uphold QA and compliance across manufacturing processes. You will lead quality improvements, participate in audits, and support NPI activities to ensure robust processes for new products.

The role emphasizes strong problem-solving, PFMEA and Six Sigma tools, and collaboration with engineering and production teams to deliver exceptional quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• APQP experience or oversight of a customer using APQP.
• Proven QA experience within a technical/manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem solving and delivery of improvement projects.
• Experience with core quality tools (PFMEA, SPC, 8D, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Compliance in production and processes.
• Quality Improvement & Problem Solving across value streams.
• Auditing & Corrective Action following findings.
• New Product Introduction (NPI) support and governance.
• Operational support to manufacturing teams.

Quality Assurance Engineer

What You'll Bring:

• Degree or HND in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• APQP Experience or strong oversight of a customer who uses APQP
• Proven Quality Assurance experience within a technical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in complex problem solving and delivery of improvement projects.
• Practical experience with PFMEA, SPC, 8D, Six Sigma, and other core quality tools
• Experience in Quality Planning for new product introduction
