Job summary

Vallum Associates is seeking a Quality Engineer in Manchester with 6+ years of experience to join our Engineering Team. The role involves software testing, test automation, API testing, and contributing to automated framework development.

You will develop test strategies, execute functional and API tests, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects. Strong automation using Selenium/Cypress/Playwright is expected, along with REST Assured and Postman expertise.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software testing/quality engineering experience.
• Strong automation experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• API automation using REST Assured or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Postman or Bruno.
• Experience with Jira/Xray.
• Good understanding of Agile, testing methodologies, and defect management.
• Create and maintain test plans, cases, and documentation.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders in agile ceremonies.
