Job summary

Peaple Talent Ltd in Bristol is seeking two QA Automation Engineers to own quality across its AI platform. You will test AI agents that handle customer conversations and sales follow-up, and you will build automation with Playwright in TypeScript or C# as part of a fast-growing team.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, where you’ll test conversations, evaluate edge cases, and ensure reliable CI/CD integrated test suites across the platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on test automation with manual testing.
• Experience testing AI features and conversations is a plus.
• Strong API testing experience and familiarity with CI/CD.
• Clear communication of bugs, risk and trade-offs to engineers.

A fast-growing AI start-up based in Bristol is scaling up its engineering team and is looking for two QA Automation Engineers to own quality across its platform.

They build AI agents that handle customer conversations and sales follow-up for businesses across phone and messaging channels, taking on work that would normally need a whole team of people. They're still small enough that everyone has real influence, and they're growing quickly while working alongside some big names in tech.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, and for a tester it's a rare chance to get stuck into some genuinely cool AI testing. Instead of a standard web app, you'll be testing AI agents that hold real conversations over the phone and on messaging, working out how they behave when a caller goes off script, a response lags or something breaks mid-conversation. It's experience very few testers have yet, and with AI moving into every product, it's a real head start for your career.

The agents run customers' sales operations without anyone watching, so getting it right genuinely matters, and you'll build the automation that lets a fast-moving team ship with confidence.

Permanent full time role, 4 days a week in the office in central Bristol.

Responsibilities:

• Manually testing new features and fixes across the platform.
• Automating stable, high-value scenarios in Playwright with TypeScript or C#.
• Testing AI conversations across voice and messaging, checking accuracy, response times and how they cope when things go wrong.
• Building API and integration tests and running them through CI/CD so regressions get caught before release.
• Raising and chasing defects through to a fix, working closely with engineers.
• Contributing to release sign-off and helping set testing best practice across the team.

Necessary experience:

• 4+ years of hands‑on test automation alongside manual testing, using tools such as Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Hands‑on API testing experience.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• A sharp eye for edge cases and clear communication with engineers about bugs, risk and trade-offs.
