Zest is hiring a Quality Assurance Auditor for a well-respected food manufacturer in County Durham. You will ensure every product leaving site meets high standards and support the technical team across the site.

Your daily tasks include internal and GMP audits, QA checks, taste panels, and maintaining quality records while investigating customer complaints and driving corrective actions. You will coach colleagues to uphold quality throughout the site.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in a similar QA Auditor or Quality role within food manufacturing (essential)
• Strong understanding of BRC and retailer standards
• Strong HACCP knowledge
• Strong audit knowledge and experience
• Confident in coaching and supporting colleagues with a friendly approach
• Keen eye for detail and passion for quality

Aufgaben

We're delighted to be supporting a long-standing client of ours, a well-respected food manufacturer, with the appointment of a Quality Assurance Auditor to join their technical team.

This is a lovely opportunity to join a business that values its people and takes real pride in the quality of its products. You'll report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and work closely with teams across the site.

The role

As Quality Assurance Auditor, you'll make sure that every product leaving site meets the high standards customers expect. Your day-to-day will include:

• Carrying out daily quality and product checks so that products comply with customer standards
• Conducting internal audits and GMP audits across site
• Supporting the technical team during external audits
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date quality records
• Running taste panels
• Investigating customer complaints and helping to put corrective actions in place
• Updating and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Coaching and supporting other departments so that quality standards are understood and upheld across the whole site

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar QA Auditor or Quality role within food manufacturing (essential)
