Job Description

SRG is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant for the food industry near Kidderminster. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Natural Sciences, or similar, with an enthusiastic and proactive mindset. Industrial QA experience in food is advantageous.

Salary and Benefits

£28,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Full training provided, with opportunities for skill development. Benefits include a 6% employer pension, 40-hour workweek (8:30 am - 5 pm), and holiday allowance increasing with service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of production facilities for regulatory compliance
• Maintain the on-site Quality Management System (QMS)
• Respond to customer queries and complete documentation promptly
• Handle customer complaints effectively
• Update product specifications for new and existing products
• Collaborate with departments to communicate complex information
• Support external regulatory audits
• Perform other QA tasks as needed

Requirements

• Recent graduate in Chemistry, Food Science, Natural Sciences, Biochemistry, or similar
• Passion for food science and the food industry
