Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, etc.) is desirable.
  • Experience in internal and external audits required.
  • Understanding of current HSQE regulations in the UK necessary.

Responsibilities

Arcus FM is looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Advisor for a 1-year FTC. The role involves implementing and improving the Group Integrated Management System, providing assurance, governance, and process improvement to operational and support teams. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the internal audit programme.

Responsibilities

Assist the Quality Assurance Lead Business Partner in managing certifications, accreditations, and registrations to support business growth. Other responsibilities include:

  1. Deliver the Group IMS strategy through audits and engagement
  2. Build and maintain relationships with certification and registration bodies
  3. Assist with RFIs and ensure timely submissions
  4. Maintain and host external audits and participate in resolving findings
  5. Conduct internal audits as per the Audit Programmes
  6. Develop relationships with stakeholders
  7. Rebrand documentation and ensure quality control
  8. Maintain and upload documents to company libraries
  9. Support HSQE objectives and strategy with the Quality Assurance Manager
  10. Stay updated with legislation, best practices, and CPD
  11. Drive continual process improvements within HSQE, Operational, and Support teams
  12. Develop workflows and process documentation to improve operations

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in auditing, quality management, investigations, and data management. Knowledge of the wider HSEQ environment is a plus. Other requirements include:

  • Knowledge of ISO standards, especially ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, 45001:2018, ISO 22301:2019, ISO 27001:2022 (desirable)
  • Recognised auditing qualification (e.g., IRCA, BSI) (desirable)
  • Membership of Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) (desirable)
  • Qualification in process improvement (desirable)
  • Experience working in a multi-client environment
  • Understanding of current HSQE regulations in the UK
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with internal and external audits
  • Experience creating and maintaining policies and procedures
  • Ability to define, influence, and deliver strategy (desirable)
