Job Purpose

To support the continuous improvement and regulatory compliance of the service by providing exceptional administrative support through having excellent attention to detail. The role involves reading Assessment Reports destined for the courts and must ensure these are of the required standard. Reports are completed by professional social workers and no content changes are required, however often they can contain spelling errors, poor grammar, incorrect formatting and spelling mistakes. These mistakes need to be picked up and amended to retain the quality of the report.

There will be a requirement to ensure effective and accurate minutes are taken of our legal panel to secure consistent follow up of actions agreed. There may a requirement to undertake other minuting duties. The role is a new role and will develop as we progress a flexible and helpful nature is always valued.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Understanding of the importance of managing organisational reputation in a legal arena.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding principles and relevant legislation.
  • Experience producing reports, audits, or performance dashboards.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and regulatory compliance is desirable.
