Job summary

Cornwall Staff Agency Ltd. is sourcing a QA staff member for a renowned free-range egg producer in Cornwall. The role focuses on strict quality checks, hygiene, and GMP compliance across raw materials and finished products.

The position starts with a Monday–Friday pattern, then moves to three 12-hour shifts, on a rolling three-day schedule including weekends. It is a temporary assignment expected to last about 8 weeks, with weekly pay and holiday accrual.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Some knowledge of HACCP.
• Full UK driving license.

• Paperwork checks and line checks.
• Temperature checks and calibration of scales and probes.
• GMP audits and swabbing including Salmonella and ATP.

Job description

Our client is seeking a member of staff to join their technical department as a Q/A in supporting a multi-award-winning free-range egg producer and packer hailing from Cornwall in the Southwest of England, based in Mid Cornwall, near Groundpound.

What we offer:

• Initially -Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.
• From 31 August 2026, the working pattern would change to three 12-hour shifts (6:00am to 6:00pm) on a rolling three-day schedule (to include weekends)
• Temporary assignment - 8 weeks approximately.
• £13.45 - £15 per hour DOE.
• Weekly pay.
• Holiday pay accrued.
