Job summary

The post holder will work on an NIHR-funded mixed-methods study, supporting qualitative evaluation of a Workplace Trauma Support intervention for staff on acute mental health wards across England.

They will lead qualitative data analysis, write reports, and contribute to journal papers and conference presentations, with opportunities for academic development within the NHS research environment.

Qualifications

• Proven substantial experience conducting qualitative research.
• This includes running funded studies and publishing results.
• Experience recruiting participants from diverse communities is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualitative data analysis, report writing and paper preparation.
• Conduct semi-structured qualitative interviews with staff on wards.
• Observe acute mental health wards and coordinate recruitment with NHS trusts across England.
• Engage with patient/public involvement and staff consultation groups.
