Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to support the Adult Trauma and Psychotherapy service. The role spans research, data collection, and clinical supervision, with opportunities to co-facilitate psycho-educational groups.

The post requires a psychology degree with a strong research background, and the ability to work across trauma and psychotherapy teams under supervision.

Qualifications

• Psychology graduate with 2.1 or 1st class honours.
• Eligibility for Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
• Experience of mental health services and research methods.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the role of research assistant on research and audit projects for which the service is responsible.
• Data collection and input in conjunction with the data quality team.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data; support outcome measures collection/analysis.
• Assist in literature databases management and reporting activity.
• Support training initiatives and preparation of teaching materials.
• Communicate findings to multidisciplinary colleagues and write up for publication.
