We are recruiting for a Talent Pool of Qualified Train Drivers who want to deliver a high-quality rail service across the GWR network.
Our Qualified Train Drivers play a crucial role in setting a new standard for rail, focused on creating a relaxed, fast, efficient, and enjoyable experience for passengers. They also provide technical and operational expertise within our teams, ensuring the highest standards of service.
We prioritize Safety and Customer Service, seeking individuals with excellent Safety Critical records, who enjoy teamwork.
The role requires exceptional focus, attention to detail, adherence to protocols, and the ability to make critical decisions. Safety and passengers are at the core of everything we do at GWR. The application process includes an online Situational Judgement exercise, a review of the RSSB B1 Transfer of Safety Critical Information history, and a selection interview assessing key role requirements.
• Reside within 60 minutes commuting distance of the depot to ensure safety and availability for various shifts, including weekends and nights.
