Our client is committed to delivering high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services to their customers and is now looking to expand their team by hiring an experienced Level 3 Technician/Assistant Manager.

Job Overview:
As a Level 3 Technician/Assistant Manager, you will be a key member of the workshop team, responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a wide range of vehicles. You will also be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of the workshop, ensuring the team operates efficiently, and providing guidance to junior technicians. This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced technician to move into a leadership position within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-level diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Supervise and guide junior technicians, ensuring quality work and efficient time management.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including workflow management and task delegation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services carried out.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining vehicle issues and repair options in a clear and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and work to industry regulations.
  • Help with managing stock levels and ordering parts when necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
