Job summary

TeacherActive is working with secondary schools in the Shifnal and Much Wenlock areas in the West Midlands, seeking Qualified Teachers for temporary roles starting ASAP. Positions are available for both full-time and part-time patterns.

You will deliver engaging lessons to secondary pupils, follow curriculum content, and manage classroom behaviour to support student progress across KS3/KS4.

We are looking for Qualified Teachers for temporary full-time and part-time roles with an ASAP start. The successful Qualified Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to secondary-aged pupils, following planned curriculum content, managing classroom behaviour effectively and supporting students to make progress with their learning.

The successful Qualified Teacher will have:

• QTS / Qualified Teacher Status


• Experience teaching secondary-aged pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and/or Key Stage 4 / KS4


• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills


• The ability to deliver engaging lessons and adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching
