Hillside Special is seeking an enthusiastic class teacher who is passionate about educating pupils with complex needs. The ideal candidate will be motivated, adaptable, and committed to providing exceptional support for students with Severe Learning Difficulties and Autism. This permanent full-time role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive educational environment.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated class teacher. This role would be suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
You will:
Hillside is a very successful school for pupils with a wide range of complex needs including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Autism (ASD).
The age range is 4 to 19 years and you may be required to work with pupils of any age and ability.
Pupils on Roll: 86 currently, 89 in September
Salary: MPR / UPR plus SEN Allowance
Required from: September 2025
Contract type: Permanent
Contracted Hours: Full Time (1.0 FTE)
