Connex Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Qualified Teachers to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who are passionate about inspiring pupils, delivering engaging lessons, and making a real difference in education.

The Role:

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and encouraging positive pupil engagement.
• Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupils’ progress and development.
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning needs.
• Working collaboratively with school staff to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.

We have many long-term Qualified Teacher roles with Connex. However, we are particularly looking for Teachers who are also happy to work as day to day cover supervisors!

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience delivering lessons and managing a classroom effectively.
• Demonstrates strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
• Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Holds, or is willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check.
• Has a genuine passion for education and helping every pupil reach their full potential.
